GraalVM needs tooling. Given the polyglot nature of the GraalVM JVM the OracleLabs decided to bet on VSCode. However to reuse all the goodies and capabilities we have built into NetBeans over the last twenty+ years, we decided to create NetBeans based VSCode extension:
Language Server by Apache Software Foundation
As of December 10, 2021 we can share UI between classical Swing based NetBeans and our VSCode extension: Just code the UI in HTML (and Java)!
