Rhino is a JavaScript engine. It is part of JDK since 1.6. These days it feels a bit outdated and slow. At least when comparing speed of execution of tests of the Bck2Brwsr project, one can see that Rhino is way (10? times) slower than Chrome or Firefox engines.
