CDDL is a Mozilla like open source license created by Sun for its own open source projects (NetBeans, Solaris, Glassfish).

To allow sharing between NetBeans and for example OpenJDK the NetBeans sources were dual-licensed under CDDL as well as GPLwithClassPathException.
