There are quite simple examples that show that you cannot parse the english langauge (any language?) without context. The one I like best is:
Time flies like an arrow.
For a human it's pretty clear what it means, but for a lexer program (that has no context) it could mean two things:
1) A special kind of flies - the "time flies" - do like arrows.
2) time passes as quickly as an arrow flies.

Netbeans start page links to this article with the title "APIDesign - Blogs: Fuck Your Language Up to Become...".
Nice job whoever is in charge of managing the start page for Netbeans. You've shown your lack of maturity to many thousands of people.

Opps.
I've forgotten my personal blog is synerged to NetBeans. I agree it was not wise to use such strong title at the time NetBeans is coming out.
I apologies for showing my lack of in English-speaking maturity. I wanted my blog post to be about Slavic linguistic, not English one.
