There are quite simple examples that show that you cannot parse the english langauge (any language?) without context. The one I like best is:
Time flies like an arrow.
For a human it's pretty clear what it means, but for a lexer program (that has no context) it could mean two things:
1) A special kind of flies - the "time flies" - do like arrows.
2) time passes as quickly as an arrow flies.

Netbeans start page links to this article with the title "APIDesign - Blogs: Fuck Your Language Up to Become...".
Nice job whoever is in charge of managing the start page for Netbeans. You've shown your lack of maturity to many thousands of people.
