He first began using the NetBeans platform in 2005 and has been active in the NetBeans community ever since by writing articles, giving presentations, contributing patches and participating on development-related mailing lists. Mr. Wheeler won the NetBeans Community Award in 2006 and currently serves on the NetBeans Dream Team and NetBeans Governance Board.
