Martin is (at least for me) inventor of the term cluelessness. His presentation (Image:RinardOOPSLA06.pdf) at OOPSLA 2006 about minimizing effect of errors by ignoring them helped me resolve my internal never ending fight between rationalism and empiricism. As a result I asked him to review the TheAPIBook before I published it:
