In case you have an [[OpenDocument]] and want someone with Microsoft tools to see it properly, it is usually wiser to convert to [[PDF]] and sent that version. Otherwise fonts and line brakes may mess the graphical layout on the other ''device'' (e.g. Microsoft Word). [[PDF]]s seem to always display appropriatelly.

Morever your bosses usually do not know how to edit [[PDF]]s, so it is harder for them to remove the ''Author'' note on the first page and replace it with own name.
