I like this idea! I first heard about it in Applying UML and Patterns and had the same thoughts: Is it really okay to &amp;quot;misuse&amp;quot; your Exception for UI?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I came to appreciate Exceptions a lot. A couple of months ago I blogged about internationalization of Exception messages: http://dlinsin.blogspot.com/2008/04/how-to-internationalize-exceptions-ii.html&lt;br /&gt;
